What is FIFA World Cup?
The FIFA World Cup is the premier international men’s football championship organised by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). Held every four years, it is among the world’s largest sporting events and features national teams from across the globe.
The 2026 edition was the first to feature 48 participating teams and was jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, making it the biggest FIFA World Cup in history.

Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 after extra time to become FIFA World Cup 2026 champions.
