Programmes covered locations from Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir to Tamil Nadu. For example, Punjab hosted dialogues in Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Gurdaspur and Moga, including an interaction with international rugby player Amandeep Kaur.
Meanwhile, 200 young people attended the Gopeshwar event in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. Dausa in Rajasthan used a street play to discuss voting; Madurai in Tamil Nadu held a parliamentary-style discussion on the Women’s Reservation Bill.

Voter awareness helps young citizens understand electoral procedures and participate with better information. For constitutional context, Article 326 provides for adult suffrage in Lok Sabha and state Assembly elections, subject to legal qualifications and disqualifications.
Article 324, meanwhile, vests the superintendence, direction and control of specified elections in the Election Commission of India. Registration also matters: explore CBL’s explanation of Form 6 and electoral roll revision.
